Manage an unlimited number of customers

GBMS lets you enter and track an unlimited number of bill-to and ship-to customer records. Store detailed sales information for the bill-to customer, including sales rep, price list and discount schedule, terms of payment, currency, and tax code. You can set up a flag to remind users when bill-to customers require a tax-exempt certificate on file.

Customize customer shipping documents and labels

When integrated with the GBMS WMS module, the system supports customer-specific shipping documents and label requirements. There are no special steps for the shipping department to adhere to customer-specific requirements. Custom labels and documents print automatically depending on the bill-to customer assigned to the shipment.

Another feature that supports customer-specific labels and reports is the broker setting.  When shipping on behalf of  customers that are flagged as brokers, the customers’ name and logo can appear on all labels and reports, as if shipping from their facility.

Track customer-specific shipping information…

You can associate each bill-to customer with an unlimited number of unique ship-to addresses that can be queried during order entry or shipping. Also, each ship-to address can be assigned a separate sales rep. When a particular ship-to record is selected in order entry, the defaults for the shipping method and sales tax code supersede the bill-to customer defaults.

View detailed order history…

The history section displays all quotations, sales orders and returns with a hyperlink for direct access to the record. User privileges determine whether the record is opened as ‘read-only’ or in ‘edit’ mode.

Capture more details with customized fields…

Customize fields that will capture additional information about your customers. For example, create fields that record and track customers’ memberships or buying habits. Or, capture information pertaining to the customer's specialty in an industry.

Use the customer record’s General tab to quickly enter all the basic customer information on just one simple screen. (Click here for more examples.)

The Sales Info tab stores details, such as payment terms, credit limit, resale number, tax codes, etc. These fields assist in data entry, provide reference information, or are used as filters for reports. (Click here for more examples.)
