Receive goods from your vendors using a data collection device or through the front-end interface. GBMS’ wide range of receiving features let you define receiving tolerance for under/over shipments, as well as record and track the manufacturer and internal lot/serial numbers with automatic generation of bar code labels. GBMS offers a packaging option that lets you palletize goods before moving them into inventory.

GBMS offers advanced filtering tools that let you browse advices by specified criteria, such as status, warehouse, reference document type (e.g., purchase order), or dates the items were received.

Flexible options...

Depending on the item settings and type of order that is being received, you can perform receiving and put-away transactions together or separately. If an item is flagged for automatic put-away, you can combine the two transactions.

Automate the entire process...

The system can automatically generate receiver documents, inventory labels and put-away advices, as well as inspection advices for required items.

GBMS’ inspection features include:

· Automatically generating put-away advices for passed items

· Recording failure information with status codes and comments

· Automatically generating vendor returns for failed items, including lot and serial information (when applicable)

· Defining special inspection instructions for each item

· Placing an item on hold if it fails inspection

View inventory transactions...

Once you perform a receipt transaction, you can quickly view all the related inventory transactions that were recorded in the system. This way, you confirm and track the receiving actions.
